In case you haven’t heard, the 90’s are back. And I love it.
With the return of the 90’s comes denim skirts, chokers, high-waisted jeans, overalls and more. While I’ll get to the other trends in future posts, I’ve singled in on my current favorite in this post – the denim skirt.
I got this particular skirt in the clearance section of Old Navy about a year ago for less than $5. Yes, really. I love this skirt because it has no pockets and zips up the back, keeping it clean cut and simple. While this skirt is no longer available, I’ve found a few others that you may like from Topshop and Nordstrom.
My shirt was another clearance find, but this time at American Eagle. I loved the sassy ‘Don’t play’ message and the collar detail on it, so obviously I had to get it. Since graphic tees were such a popular thing in the 90’s and early 2000’s, it was the perfect match for my denim skirt. American Eagle has a few other cute graphic tee options now such as this and this, while Nordstrom has some like this and this.
My shoes, a summer staple for me, are from Steve Madden and can be found here. I picked the grey suede color, but I also love the mauve suede option and the natural snake option as well.
