Wearing White After Labor Day

Happy Thursday, lovelies – I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week so far! With the craziness of Labor Day weekend and Hurricane Dorian now behind us, this week has been my first back in the office and back in the swing of things. I’d gotten used to my life of luxury where I was hanging out in my comfies all day, but I really am glad to be back in the office this week. There’s just something about the chatter, the movement and the high energy of the office that keeps me motivated in a way that being at home just can’t. And though I am a bit sad sometimes that I can’t wear my comfies to the office, I’m still so fortunate that my office doesn’t have much of a dress code, allowing me to wear jeans and sneakers most days.

And those of you that know me well know that it’s no secret that I love dressing for comfort. In fact, most fall days you can find me in jeans, some sort of oversized top or sweater, and a trusty pair of sneakers. This season, I’m all about a great pair of white sneakers. (Yes, you can definitely still wear white sneakers after Labor Day!) These ‘Internationalist’ sneakers from Nike have quickly become my go-to pair. They’re perfect to pair with my usual fall wardrobe, but will also look so cute when worn with midi skirts and tied up tees for warmer days, making them such a versatile find.

The material was a little stiff at first (like any shoe), but after a few good wears, they were well and truly broken in. As wearable and comfortable as these are, it’s hard to believe they’re under $100. I honestly think I’ll be wearing these most days this fall, so I apologize in advance for the amount of times you’ll see them on my Instagram feed. I purchased this particular pair on Nordstrom.com, but they’ve since sold out. Don’t worry though, I’ve linked a few more options below!

Reebok Classic, $75

Nike Air Max 1 G, $120

Adidas Continental 80, $39.95 (on sale!)

You’ll notice that the white sneakers above all had a sportier vibe. If that’s not quite your scene I’ve also linked a few other options here for you:

Banana Republic Essential Leather Sneaker, $138

Superga Cotu Sneaker, $65

Keds Champion Originals, $44

Whatever you choose, be sure to grab yourself a pair of white sneakers soon! They’re the perfect transitional footwear and can easily be dressed up a bit when paired with a skirt or dressed down with oversized sweaters for more casual days. Be sure to head to my Instagram to see how I’m styling mine this fall!

xx,
